VMware certificeert Canonical Ubuntu Linux LTS voor vCloud Air
VMware certificeert Ubuntu Linux LTS voor het vCloud Air cloud computing platform. Hierdoor is het Canonical Ubuntu Linux een gecertificeerd besturingssysteem voor het VMware vCloud Air enterprise cloud-computing platform, voorheen bekend als vCloud Hybrid Services.
VMware hoopt hiermee klanten beter te bedienen die Ubunti LTS en vCloud Air gebruiken. Klanten kunnen nu zorgeloos een Ubuntu gebruiken voor hun VMware vCloud Air, omdat het gezamelijk door Canonical en VMware (met VMware ESXi) wordt ondersteund.
