IBM introduceert nieuwe DS 8880 All-flash Storage oplossingen

IBM introduceert nieuwe DS 8880 All-flash Storage oplossingen voor het middensegment en grootzakelijke organisaties die voldoen aan high availability, continuous up-time, en een hoge performance.

De storage oplossingen zijn geschikt voor diverse workloads, zoals enterprise resource planning (ERP) en cognitieve applicaties zoals machine learning en natural language processing.

De DS 8880 All-flash Storage bestaat uit drie oplossingen.

De Business Class Storage IBM DS8884F is geschikt voor ERP, order processing, database transactions, customer relationship management en human resources information systems met 256 GB Cache (DRAM) en tussen 6.4-154 TB aan Flash Capacity.

De Enterprise Class Storage  IBM DS8886F is onder andere geschikt voor online transaction processing, high-speed commercial data processing, high-performance data warehouse en data mining en critical financial transaction systems met 2 TB Cache (DRAM en tussen 6.4-614.4 TB aan Flash Capacity.

De Analytic Class Storage IBM DS8888F is geschikt voor cognitieve en real-time analytics en decision waaronder predictive analytics, real time optimization, machine learning en cognitive systems, natural language speech en video processing met 2 TB Cache (DRAM) en tussen 6.4 TB-1.22 PB aan Flash Capacity.

De DS8880 all-flash data systems zijn beschikbaar vanaf 20 januari 2017 bij IBM en IBM Business Partners. Meer informatie staat op de IBM DS8880 website.
